Fast File Uploads and Downloads
Working with the File Manager feels like working with your PC. The built-in drag 'n' drop functionality will permit you to effortlessly move files between your desktop PC and the web hosting server. Simply select the file that you want to upload from your desktop PC and then drag it into your browser. The same goes for downloading a file from the File Manager to your hard disk drive. What's more, you can download files and even folders to your desktop by pressing the Download button.
Easy File Editing Options
With the File Manager, you can create a new file or folder with only one click. All action buttons are conveniently placed above the file/folder list and you can edit your files with ease. You can rename or copy a file, move a file to another folder, see the contents of a file or change its permissions, delete a file, etc.
Handy Archive/Unarchive Functionality
With the File Manager user interface, you will be able to compress and uncompress all types of files. It does work remarkably fast - simply select the files you wish to zip and push the Compress button. You can even select the archive file type (.rar, .zip, etc.). It is just as easy to extract the contents of an archive to a selected directory.
File Editors
With the File Manager user interface, you really do not need any external tools in order to edit your files. There is an image viewer, which allows you to preview the contents of your image files to get a clue about how the images will actually appear on the World Wide Web. What's more, you will find an array of integrated file editors, which will grant you absolute command over your files. The plain text editor and the code editor are meant for more advanced users, while the WYSIWYG editor (where you can see all code changes in real time) is also suitable for technically inexperienced users.
